Wallet Connection
OrangeBit adopts a non-custodial architecture, meaning users retain full control of their assets at all times. To interact with the platform, users connect their own wallets through a secure, permissionless interface that supports both EVM-compatible and multi-chain wallets.
No centralized custody is ever required — all transactions, deposits, and settlements are executed directly between the user’s wallet and the smart contracts deployed on-chain.
Supported Wallets
At launch, OrangeBit will support leading wallet providers and connection protocols, including:
MetaMask (Browser Extension & Mobile)
WalletConnect v2
Coinbase Wallet
OKX Wallet
Trust Wallet
Rainbow Wallet (optional multi-chain support)
The platform is also designed to be WalletConnect-native, allowing any compatible DeFi wallet to integrate without custom configuration.
Security & Authentication
All wallet connections are established through secure cryptographic signature (EIP-191 / EIP-712 standard).
OrangeBit never requests or stores private keys.
Authentication and session management rely on signature-based login (Sign-In with Wallet), ensuring user identity without exposing sensitive data.
Additional security measures include:
Non-custodial access: assets always remain in the user’s wallet
Permission-less authorization: every contract interaction requires explicit wallet confirmation
Session isolation: wallet sessions automatically expire upon logout or inactivity
Hybrid verification layer: optional 2FA or biometric check for off-chain API access
OrangeBit provides a seamless and secure wallet-based login mechanism, enabling users to authenticate directly through their self-custodied crypto wallets. This approach aligns with the principles of decentralization, ensuring that users retain full control of their private keys and assets at all times.
Key Features:
Non-Custodial Access:
OrangeBit never holds or requests users’ private keys. Authentication is performed via digital signature verification, ensuring ownership without compromising security.
Multi-Wallet Compatibility:
The platform supports a wide range of popular wallets, including MetaMask, OKX Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, and WalletConnect. This multi-protocol integration allows users to connect effortlessly from both desktop and mobile environments.
Seamless Authentication Flow:
Users can access trading, portfolio management, and governance modules by simply signing a verification message — eliminating the need for passwords or centralized credentials.
Enhanced Security:
Wallet authentication is performed on-chain or via verifiable off-chain sessions, preventing phishing or credential leaks. Sensitive data never leaves the user’s device.
Hybrid Identity Layer (Optional):
For compliance or advanced account management, users may optionally link their wallet identity with verified email credentials via Privy. This hybrid identity model supports Web3-native access while enabling Web2 recovery and cross-device continuity.
By adopting a wallet-first authentication model, OrangeBit ensures a trustless, user-sovereign login experience that balances security, usability, and interoperability across the DeFi ecosystem.
All transactions are routed through verified smart contracts to guarantee auditability, traceability, and security of execution.
